ANTHONY, LINDSEY, MAISIE & DIZZY
For Anthony, Lindsay, their daughter Maisie, and their beloved German Shepherd Dizzy, this portrait experience was about so much more than just photographs — it was about capturing love, resilience, and the precious moments that make a family whole.
Anthony took the lead in organizing this experience, wanting to show Lindsay just how deeply loved and valued she is. Since being diagnosed with Crohn’s disease in 2015, Lindsay has faced many challenges, including the impact on her confidence. Anthony hoped that through this experience, she would see herself the way her family sees her — as strong, beautiful, and irreplaceable. He knows how much she gives to their family every day, and this was his way of giving something special back to her.
For Lindsay, family means everything. It’s what she lives for. Having missed the chance to capture baby photos of Maisie during the COVID years, this shoot became even more meaningful — a way to celebrate the moments they never want to forget. It's a reminder of how far they’ve come together as a family. With a recent health scare still fresh in her mind, Lindsay knew just how important it was to create something lasting for Maisie, so that she would always have a reminder of the love that surrounds her.
Their loyal German Shepherd, Dizzy, was right there by their side. At 9 years old, they know their time with her is precious. Dizzy isn’t just a family pet — she’s a story of love and second chances. Originally a police dog trainee, Dizzy didn’t make the cut due to her anxious nature. But for Anthony and Lindsay, she was perfect. They had fallen in love with her brother, a police recruit, and couldn’t bear to let Dizzy go. Bringing her home was one of the best decisions they ever made, and she’s been part of their family ever since.
Their portrait session wasn’t just about capturing faces — it was about capturing love, perseverance, and the joy that comes from being together. As Lindsay put it, "To see the family united and how loved they all are will help me, especially on the days when I’m unwell." And for Anthony, who grew up without that sense of family, this experience was a chance to give Maisie and Lindsay the love and security he always dreamed of having himself.
Their testimonial says it all:
"We cannot thank you enough for this amazing experience and for capturing precious memories we can cherish forever. You are a wonderful team who made all the family feel so comfortable and welcome. Maisie and Dizzy will probably sleep all the way home. Lots of love, Anthony, Lindsay, Maisie & Dizzy."
